Why Should I Care :

Youth around the world feel fear and despair when they think about what climate change could mean for their future. While this generation has the most at stake when it comes to preventing climate choas, many young people don’t know where to start in addressing this huge issue. Many youth are looking for ways to be a part of the solution, but need the traing and support to take the next step. The youth comprises over one –third of the Indian population which in turn constitutes a major part of the labour force of the country. But according to the reports of the Financial Express “only 15% of the youg graduates passing out of colleges are employable;the rest are branded unemployable.” It is not their lack of theoretical knowledge that causes this.Instead,it is the lack of right skills and attitude. There is thus, an increasing concern among the leading employers of the country ,about the death of ready-to-deliver employes. In addition, the macro perspective correctly in economic growth and nation building to elude their addition to family woes, social stress and national misery.

What We Do :

Youth empowermrnt is a process where children and young people are encouraged to take charge of their lives. We do this by addressing their situation and then take action in order to improve their access to resources and transform their consciousness through their beliefs, values, and attitudes. Youth empowerment aims to improve quality of life. Youth empowerment is achieved through participation in youth empowerment programs. BREAD offers various creative and innovative youth programs to earn a job, to complete higher education and to excel in sport and games.

  • Soft Skill Training
  • Higher Education Scholarships
  • Youth Clubs
  • Vocational training

The main Objective of BREAD’s soft skill training Centers is to impart basic computer education for young students and to empower them for better job opportunities. This program will be a short term certification course that includes Computer courses like DTP, Tally, and Office Package. Youth who do not have job oriented computer knowledge are trained freely through these short term certification courses. Besides giving this course we also gives them information about the current affairs, education, job opportunities, government welfare schemes etc.

This project extend scholarship programs for students who are orphans/semi-orphans and children of sick parents to continue higher education in the areas of undergraduate, professional courses and technical education.

The ultimate aim of youth clubs is to provide Job & Life Skilled Training programs through Government EDP Schemes/Networking with other NGOs. Apart from this BREAD sponsor other NGOs to offer Job Skilled Trainings, Workshops on personality development and Awareness on education.
